Amy Winehouse, one of the greatest female vocalists and songwriters of her generation, is to be celebrated with a special show this December, performed by her original band who were with her from the very start of her career.
Announced this week – the week on what would have been her 40th birthday on 14th September – this special evening will take place at KOKO, Camden on Friday 22nd December.
In this exceptional & unique show, Amy's original band led by her long term Musical Director & Bass player Dale Davis (who is also music consultant on the upcoming Amy biopic Back to Black), celebrate her era-defining music and live performances. This joyful and emotional celebration will be performed by the band who knew her best; who stood alongside her on stages all around the world from the very beginning and helped create her timeless sound, both onstage and in the studio.
Fronted by the incredible vocalist Bronte Shandé and featuring on-screen visuals and unique footage, the show has toured all over Europe in 2022 – 2023 including special appearances at UK Festivals this year, and has become an unforgettable experience and celebration for so many of all ages.
