Canadian nuevo-flamenco guitarist Jesse Cook has announced a special one-off UK show with his band at the Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall for next Spring.
A Juno Award winner and Acoustic Guitar Player’s Choice Award winner in the Flamenco category, Jesse’s unique sound blends traditional Spanish flamenco elements with facets of new age, jazz and easy listening.
Signed to Narada records for his debut album ‘Tempest’, released in 1994, Jesse has since released 13 studio albums, 5 live DVD’s and travelled the world touring and discovering the origins of the very music he performs. His channel on YouTube is enjoyed by millions of fans every month.
Currently on a sixty-date tour of the US, Jesse has been on the road for the best part of 25 years, across 6 continents and has sold more than 1 million concert tickets, whilst amassing over half a billion streams of his music globally on Spotify and other leading platforms.
“What do I call my music? I’ve never known how to answer that question. Mostly I don’t care, as long as it touches people’s hearts” Jesse Cook
