Step back in time to the golden age of Hollywood movies as a cast of West End dancers and singers join The Novello Orchestra in a celebration of the iconic MGM movie moments made famous by the likes of Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Grace Kelly and Judy Garland.

From Top Hat and Follow the Fleet to Swing Time and Shall We Dance, The Golden Age of Dance! is a nostalgic evening of entertainment to a soundtrack of Hollywood’s finest music by composers including George and Ira Gershwin, Irving Berlin and many more!

For two special evenings this November, London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane and Wales’ Millennium Centre pay homage to the glitz and glamour, inviting you to sit back and re-live the iconic dance sequences from some of these sublime films live on stage.

The Novello Orchestra will accompany the dancers, performing the fabulously lush music and songs by the composers from these films capturing the style of this golden age.

Led by David Mahoney of the Classical Brit winning vocal group Only Men Aloud, The Novello Orchestra has quickly become renowned for it’s passionate, enigmatic performances and a charisma that has injected an energy and innovative take on the whole orchestral concept.
