Due to overwhelming public demand, eight-time Grammy Award and three-time Academy Award Winner, Burt Bacharach, has announced a second show in London this summer.
Performing at London’s iconic Palladium on 25th June, the show will see Bacharach take to the stage with special guest artists, performing songs from across his extraordinary catalogue of hits.
The other UK shows include 27th June at Bristol Colston Hall, 29th June at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, 6th July at Southend Cliffs Pavilion and 4th July at London’s Royal Festival Hall. All shows except Southend will see Burt accompanied by an orchestra, with the Southend show being with Burt’s long-standing band.
A true legend in every sense of the word, Bacharach’s songs sound as fresh today as they have done throughout his career.
Bacharach’s global audiences span several generations, and he is viewed as the unique combination of one of the greatest composers of all time and the ultra-cool cult hero of the contemporary music set. He continues to woo audiences all over the world with his incredible body of work – last year he took Glastonbury by storm.
